Cover Photo: I Found Myself - Ronak Sawant

The moment you find yourself, you discover something magical.

I have found myself.
I am not a part of this whole thing called the universe.
I am also not different and separate from it.
I am the universe.

(I have found myself.)
(I have understood life.)
(I have made friends with my soul.)
(I have talked to God.)
(I have adopted this place.)
(I have recognised this world.)
(I have suffered sorrow and pain.)
(I have learned about worldly life.)
(I have felt love and happiness.)
(I have found peace.)

(I do not feel afraid of dying now.)
(But before that, I want to live such a life that death says to me, "Man, what are you?")

Cover Photo: Mountain is my second home! - Ronak Sawant

They say home is where the heart is but my heart is free and belongs in the mountains.

The mountain is my second home. Whenever I come to the mountains, I feel like I returned home. I love the mountains. I have a relationship with the mountains. I am lost, in its beauty and simplicity. I am lost, seeing the view from the top of it. The fun of screaming from standing at the top of the mountain is the fun that is very different.

Feels good there!
Far from this noise.
Far from this crowd.
Far from this run.
Far from this delusion.
Far away, but close to my heart.

Cover Photo: Thank you, Dance - Ronak Sawant

I am happy as well as satisfied with what dance has given me in my life so far.
Dance made me the person which I never thought I would become one day.
Dance made the human and artist in me alive.
Dance made me befriend my soul.
Dance made me connected to this universe.
Dance helped me to understand what exactly life, love and freedom is.
Dance made my life worth living.
Thank you so much dance for coming into my life and making it so beautiful. Today I can proudly say to myself and this world that "Maine dance ko jiya hai!" (I lived dance!)

Jab maut mujhe bulayegi na apne paas, toh main khushi se nachte-nachte jana pasand karunga.
(When death will call me, I would happily like to go dancing.)

Cover Photo: Life is a mountain - A Poem by Ronak Sawant

Life is a mountain we have to climb
Enjoy the journey taking one step at a time
There’s no shortcut; there’s no easy way
But the road to the top is fun and play

Don’t let fear or anything stop you
Just keep going and appreciate the view
Sometimes you will slip, and sometimes you will fall
I know you are so strong that you will get up and stand tall

You’ll meet new people; you’ll make some friends
Some will leave you, and some will stay until the life ends
At times you will be lost and feel completely alone
I know you will find yourself and explore the unknown

High altitude will teach you the great lessons
Your attitude, belief, and confidence are priceless weapons
Crevasse is an obstacle that will make your time difficult
Wear your crampons, get on the ladder, pass and exult

Avalanche may come, and you may lose special someone
That's life, and the show must go on
You’ll have your moments; you’ll have the time of your life
Always be grateful for this gift that you are alive

Love, laugh and learn from your experience
Find your purpose and know your existence
When you reach the summit, don’t be afraid to help others
Be the climber that not only climbs but also creates more climbers

Life is a mountain we have to climb
Enjoy the journey taking one step at a time
The summit is what drives us
But remember, the climb itself is what matters

Cover Photo: THE FIGHT WITHIN - Ronak Sawant

We all are fighting in life with situations, people and everything that life throws at us. But, we all forget at times that the important fight we have to face in life is the fight within. The fight within is the fiercest battle that we will ever encounter, and it is the war that we have to fight in our lives with oneself. This fight is considered to be the toughest fight of all. Because it is easy to fight with someone else, but to fight with oneself is something else. It's a difficult one.

We are either created or destroyed from within. The biggest and the endless fights are the ones happening inside us, and usually the toughest ones to conquer. Some people are fighting battles of depression, some are fighting an uphill battle with a disease that can take a life, some are fighting battles with their insecurities, some are still fighting for survival, some are fighting for a good life, and some are fighting a battle that we may not even know.

I was fighting my own battle with depression a few months back. Every passing day from depression was such a battle. It was a silent battle going on and on for weeks. I was slowly losing interest in things that I loved doing, and I was wasting my time doing nothing at all. It took me a while to realise that this thing called depression was controlling my life. I started asking questions to myself; I knew that all the answers I want are deep within me. I decided to fight back against this depression. And the very next moment, I noticed the depression was feeling the fear of being apart seeing the strength inside myself. Yes, I won the battle with depression by fighting against it. That's how I controlled my life, the life I love! I am thankful as well as grateful for this life.

Whatever the fight you are going through in life right now, always remember,
You are stronger than your fears,
You are stronger than your flaws,
You are stronger than your problems,
You are stronger than your worries,
You are stronger than the hard times you are going through,
You are stronger than all the wars and bad voices going on in your head.

Be strong my friend and take that one step to face your battles in life. I believe in you and your strength. I know you can fight this fight. You can win this fight.

Keep fighting the fight within. And if you win, then please feel free to share it with me and world, just as I shared mine.

"Never quit in this game called life. Always fight."

Cover Photo: Woh Bas Insaan Hai - A Poem by Ronak Sawant

"Woh Bas Insaan Hai"

Woh Mandir jata hai,
Woh Masjid bhi jata hai.
Woh Church jata hai,
Woh Gurudwara bhi jata hai.
Woh har jagah jata hai.
Woh har jagah ko chahta hai.
Woh koi Hindu, Musalmaan, Sikh, Isaai ya kuch aur nahi.
Woh bas Insaan hai.

Woh Ishwar se prarthana karta hai,
Woh Allah se namaaz bhi padhta hai.
Woh Yeeshu se prarthana karta hai,
Woh Waheguru se mool mantra paath bhi padhta hai.
Woh har Bhagwan pe bharosa karta hai.
Woh har Bhagwan ko chahta hai.
Woh koi Hindu, Musalmaan, Sikh, Isaai ya kuch aur nahi.
Woh bas Insaan hai.

Woh bas Insaan hai.
Woh bas Insaan hai.
Woh bas Insaan hai.

Zindagi aur Mai

Pata nahi zindagi kahan le jaa rahi hai mujhe.
Kabhi yahan,
Toh kabhi wahan.
Kabhi rangmanch par,
Toh kabhi sadak par.
Kabhi idhar,
Toh kabhi udhar.
Aur kabhi kidhar bhi nahi.

Ae zindagi, chalte rehne de tera yeh pyaara silsila.
Bas dua karta hoon ke iss safar mein reh na jaye kuch adhura.
Bas dua karta hoon ke kabhi ruk na jaye yeh safar mera tera.
Bas dua karta hoon ke kabhi toot na jaye yeh anokha rishta humara.
